The Opportunity

We're growing our network of trusted family law attorneys and mediators who deliver legal advice and mediation services to Hello Divorce clients through our platform. You'll work directly with real people navigating divorce — providing unbundled, limited-scope guidance that helps them understand their options, make informed decisions, and reach fair agreements.

This is contract work, fully remote, and entirely on your schedule. You control your availability and caseload. You will never appear in court and every Hello Divorce client is self-represented.

It's a strong fit if you're looking to supplement your existing practice, transition away from adversarial litigation, build flexibility into your career, or simply do legal work that feels meaningful again.

• Nevada
• Any state where we don't yet have a trusted partner

What You'll Do

Primary work — serving Hello Divorce clients:

• Provide legal advice to self-represented clients who book attorney time by the hour
• Mediate between spouses to help them reach durable agreements and stay out of court
• Review, draft, and assist with divorce documents and filings
• Help clients understand their state's process, weigh options, and chart a path forward
• Communicate clearly and meet clients where they are — emotionally and legally

Occasional work — sharing your expertise:

From time to time, our product and client services teams may ask for your input on state-specific forms, local court procedures, or process improvements. It's light-touch and optional, but a great way to shape how divorce works for thousands of people in your state.

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in the state(s) you'd serve
• 2+ years practicing family law (more is welcome and common on our team)
• Mediation certification and 2+ years of mediation experience
• A genuine commitment to client-centered, less adversarial practice
• Strong communicator — you make complex legal concepts feel approachable
• Comfortable working independently and remotely with minimal oversight
• Tech-friendly — you don't need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable working on a digital platform
• A sense of ethics, transparency, and respect for client confidentiality that goes without saying
