Trusted Partners Supplemental Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Hello Divorce! This Supplemental Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) applies to our Trusted Partners Program.  Please refer separately to our Terms & Conditions for terms of use related to our software and digital tools, additional resources and services. 

Trusted Partners Program (“TPP”) provides a directory of independent lawyers and other experts for website visitors who are interested in hiring a lawyer or other expert to help with their divorce or other family law action. By accessing TPP you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

By using our website to help in your search to find a lawyer, you are not creating an attorney-client relationship between you and any of the listed lawyers. You are also not creating an attorney-client relationship with Hello Divorce. Hello Divorce is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

Lawyers and other experts in our TPP voluntarily agree to be bound by our code of values which include, among other things, that they lead with empathy, make efforts to successfully resolve legal issues outside of litigation, are in good standing with their licensing board and are committed to transparent pricing. While we do engage in preliminary vetting, we rely on the statements provided to us by these experts and do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or reliability of any of the information they provide, nor do we conduct any ongoing vetting or review of qualifications. The information on our website has been provided by lawyers and other service providers in our TPP. It may be inaccurate all or in part and it is possible it is incomplete or outdated. Any information you review should be independently verified. 

The inclusion of lawyers and other service providers simply requires a payment and we make no recommendation as to their quality. Although we’d like to think that experts who resonate with our brand and values are excellent,  we don’t thoroughly evaluate any lawyer or expert in our TPP directory and we do not recommend or endorse them. Retaining legal and financial assistance is a big decision and we do not want you to rely solely on the information and listings found on our website. You may wish to do substantial research from several resources before making an informed decision on who you will retain to assist you. Ultimately, you are responsible for who you select to assist you.  

Should you choose to hire an expert or lawyer that is listed in our TPP or found via Hello Divorce, your relationship will solely be with that expert/lawyer and does not involve us in any way. We are not involved in or responsible for anything that occurs between you and your expert and we do not receive any portion of the lawyer or other service provider fees. In no event will we be held liable for damages of any kind related to or  arising out of or in connection with the lawyer or other expert services provided to you by a lawyer or expert you contacted through us or after finding them via our website.

You agree to use our TPP directory and website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this Agreement. You must not in any way violate federal, state, local or international law or regulation.

You agree that we will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of our website, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive and consequential damages. 

TPP is not a lawyer referral service or a legal insurance provider. TPP is an advertising platform for lawyers and experts. Certain states have special rules relating to advertising disclosures for lawyers. You should contact your state or local bar association to learn more. 

No representation is made that the quality of the services to be performed by lawyers or experts on our website are greater than the quality of services performed by other lawyers or experts. 

We may terminate this Agreement and TPP at any time and without notice for any reason.To the extent our Terms and Conditions do not conflict with this Agreement, the Terms and Conditions will control. As an example, terms such as governing law, intellectual property are contained in Terms and Conditions. Our Privacy Policy can be found in our website footer.

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and us with respect to the use of our TPP.
